This transmits the April 21, 1988 to May 25, 1988 routine inspection findings
of Mr. C. Holden and Mr. R. Freudenberger at the Maine Yankee Atomic Power
Plant, Wiscasset, Maine.
Those findings were based on observations of
activities, interviaws, and document reviews, and have been discussed with
Dr. Boulette of your staff.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed. Two
noteworthy initiatives on your part are your Rework Tracking System and the
Design Basis Review Audits. These programs appear to . identify and correct
issues before they become problem areas.
