SALEM EMERGENCY EXERCISE I want to thank you for your support in the preparation for and the actual execution of i
the full emergency exercise for the Salem Nuclear Power Plant. It was an excellent learning experience for me, in many respects.
Please convey my appreciation to all the members of your staff and all participants from the agency for their discipline and professionalism. It was very nice of everyone to take such good care of our foreign visitors and to accommodate them to observe the exercise.
We had a good reyie, w meeting already and I hope to see a final written critiquel.
Something we didifeed was off-reactor dose assessment, in-site and off-site. There can never be too much dose assessment and we surely need some. Also, the
@ introduction of additional" callers" and " engagements' would add to_the training.
