NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-369/98-09 AND
50-370/98-09
Dear Mr. Barron:
On October 3,1998, the Nucleer Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection at
your McGuire Nuclear Station. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
During the six-week period covered by this inspection, your conduct of activities at the McGuire
facility was generally characterized by safety-conscious operations, sound engineering and
maintenance practices, and careful radiological work controls.
Also, during the inspection period, the NRC received your response dated September 4,1998,
to Violations 50-369,370/98-07-07 and 50-369,370/98-07-09. We have evaluated your
response and found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201. We will examine the
implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and
its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
