OF MEETING ON JANUARY 11-15, 1988 - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR COMANCHE PEAK, UNIT 1 During the week of January 11, 1988, the NRC staff and representatives of TU Electric, lead applicant for the CPSES, met at the plant site in Glen Rose Texas to review TU Electric's proposed changas to the first draf t CPSES Unit 1 Technical Specifications (TS).
The meeting notice, agenda, and list of attendees are provided as Enclosures 1, 2, and 3. respectively, to this summary.
The applicant gave a brief presentation (see Enclosure 4 for slides) on their new TS Programs which were explained in a letter (TXX-6905) from W. G. Counsil (TV Electric) to the NRC dated October 30,1987(Enclosure 5).

provided 98 attachments containing TU Electric's proposed changes to the first draft Unit 1 TS (due to volume, these are not included as part of Enclosure 4).
The majority of. the meeting was spent reviewing the proposeu changes, which amounted to over 575 changes. The "Technical Specification Change Status" listing (Enclosure 6) was provided by TV Electric to keep track of the group's review efforts during this portion of the meeting.
It has been annotated to show the results of the review.
r After review of all the proposed TS changes, the staff and applicant discussed several general topics, including the NRC TS Improvement Program, use of the i
word "imediate," cascading technical specifications, voluntarily entering an action statement, the TS review and development schedule, and NRC review resources.
The action items from this meeting are provided in Enclosure 7.
