Dear Mr. Schnell:
This letter is in reference to the telephone conversation between Mr. R. F. Warnick of my staff and Mr. S. E. Miltenberger of your staff on April 15,1986, regarding information supplied to the Nuclear Regulatory Comission.
As we informed Mr. Miltenberger, on April 15, 1986 an unsigned letter was received by the Office of Inspection and Enforcement transmitting a copy of the minutes of a QC Staff Meeting on March 19, 1986. The letter highlighted the next to the last paragraph of the meeting minutes, ia which security matters were discussed.
Because we were already aware of the details of your enhanced security measures, Region III plans no additional action with respect to this matter at the present time.
