SUBJECT: REPORT NOS. 50-424/86-19 AND 50-425/86-10
On March 17-21, 1986, NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC Construction
Permit Nos. CPPR-108 and CPPR-109 for your Vogtle facility.
At the conclusion
of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff
identified in the enclosed inspection report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and cbservation of activities
in progress.
Within the scope of the inspection no new violations were identified. Examples
of circumstances similar to ' these identified in NRC Report 50-424/85-62
transmitted by our letter dated March 10, 1986, were identified during this
inspection.
It is our understanding that you will address these circumstances in
your response to our March 10, 1986 letter.
