This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. Henri F. van Kessel
of this office on April 18-22, 1988, at the Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station

in Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey, Mr. van Kessel discussed the findings of the
inspection with Mr. S. LaBruna and other members of your staff at the conclusion
of the inspection.
