SUMMARY

This letter is to express my appreciation for the interest shown by you and W. C. Jones, Senior Vice President, in briefing my Deputy, John Montgomery, and myself, on the progress being made on various management initiatives at Fort Calhoun Station.

Such management meetings as the one that we held at,your request un May 18, 1988, substantially contribute to our general understanding of the schedule or progress being made by Omaha Public Power District in executing and completing the programs designed to enhance the operations at Fort Calhoun Station.

I look forward to further opportunities for such meetings in the future and, where appropriate, to expanded meetings between our respective staffs to discuss some of these matters in greater detail.
