NPDES Monitoring Report i San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1 The SONGS monitoring report covering the month of August is subitted in accordance with the requiranents of C&Q3 Order 88-001 (NPDES Permit No.

CA0001228). A sumary of the generating unit's status and significant analytical results is provided below.

The unit was restarted on August 5, 1988. All sampled water sources were foun3 to te within permit limits except one settleable solids test at the Unit 1 sewage treatment plant. 'Ihis was high due to a grease plugged sewer line. The lines have been cleaned to prevent recurrence.

Pursucnt to Order No.88-001, Reporting Requirerent 12, the following 3 representative is authorized to sign and certify all reports required by this order: Arthur Kneisel, Environmental Engineer.
