On January 18, 1988, we notified you via our final report TXX-B8104 of a deficiency involving the ambient temperature effects on Main Steam Isolation Valve (MSIV) actuators. This is a supplemental report to status the -

corrective actions implemented to date.

The Unit 2 MSIV actaators were sent to Rockwell International for repairs and have now been returned to CPSES and installed in Unit 1, in accordance with TXX-88104, However Unit 2 corrective action as' stated in TXX-88104 has been revised in that the Unit 1 ac.tuators will be reworked on site rather than in the vendor's shop prior to installation on the Unit 2 MSIVs. The anticipated completion aate for the Unit 2 activities (January 1,1989) has not changed.
