This letter addresses the inspection of your facility at Chattanooga, Tennessee conducted by Mr. James T. Conway of this office on September 1,1988, and the discussions of his findings with you at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was conducted to perform a programmatic evaluation of the imple-mentation of Bolts & Nuts' QA program as it relates to the supply of fasteners for nuclear facilities. Aroas examined during the NRC inspection and our findings are discussed in the enclosed report. This inspection consisted of an examination of representative vecceds, interviews with personnel, and observations by the in' pectur.
Within the scope of this inspection, we found no instance where you failed to meet NRC requirements.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
a copy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
