Subject: Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-245/86-02 and 50-336/86-02
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. S. Pullani of
this office on February 24-28, 1986 at Millstone Units 1 and 2, Waterford,
Connecticut of activities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-21 and OPR-65 and to
the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Pullani with Mr. W. Romberg of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspec-
tion Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the in-
spection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Our inspector also verified the steps you have taken to correct the violations
brought to your attention in the enclosure to our letter dated August 1,1984.
We have no further questions regarding your action at this time.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
