Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No.168 Pursuant to 10CFR50.90, GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (0CNGS) Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, requests a change to Appendix A of that license.
The subject Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) provides clarification of existing requirements in Sections 6.5 and 6.8 of the Technical Specifications for technical and safety review of procedures, modifications to unit structures, systems and components and proposed tests and experiments. The subject TSCR also provides more consistent terminology with NUREG-0123, "Standard Technical Specifications for General Electric Boiling Water Reactors (BWR/5)" Rev. 3.
This change request has been reviewed in accordance with Section 6.5 of the existing Oyster Creek Technical Specifications and we have concluded that this proposed change does not constitute a significant hazards consideration.
Pursuant to 10CFR50.91(b)(1), a copy of this change request has been sent to the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
In addition, a check for $150 pursuant too 10CFR170.12 is enclosed for the application fee.
