Further to the discussions at the public meeting between TU Electric and the NRC on September 29,1998, regarding the 1% power uprate, please find enclosed 1 (one) copy of the proprietary respotiscs to NRC Staff questions conceming topical report, ER-80P,
" Improving Thermal Power Accuracy and Plant Safety While increasing Operating Power Level Using the LEFM/Tu System," and 1 (one) copy of the non-proprietary responses to NRC Staff questions. These responses are being provided to the NRC on the CPSES Dockets in order that NRR can continue the reviews of the topical report necessary to support the related license actions.
As this submittal contains information proprietary to Caldon, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Caldon, the owner of the information. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of 10CFR2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
