Subject: Millstone 2 Routine Inspection 50-336/88-19 (7/30/88 - 9/12/88)
This forwards our report of the routine resident inspection from July 30 through
September 12, 1983 at Millstone 2.
Tne results of the inspection were discussed
with Mr. Scace of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
In May 1988, your Quality Services Department audited Consolidated Controls Cor-
poration and found the seismic qualification of Engineered Safeguards Actuation
Systems power supplies to be in question.
The Engineering / Operations groups in-
itiated further evaluation about three months later, and that delay indicates that
associated interfaces could be improved.
No violations were identified during this inspection and no reply to this letter
is required.
