DESCRIPT_ ION OF NONCOMPLIANCE:
The B00 of a sample from discharge point 501 (Sewage Trettnent Plant) exceeded the monthly aver 6ge and instantaneous. maximum limits.

The cause of the noncompliance was high solids carryover through the sewage plant.
This was caused by the #1 and #2 wet we'll pumps returning to service on April 6, 1988 after tripping on thermals due to clogging with debris.
DURATION OF NONCOMPLIANCE _:
The estimated duration of the noncompliance was twelve hours, i
