t NRC Region III has received an allegation concerning the radiation protection training program at the Point Beach Nuclear Power Station. Details of the allegation are enclosed and are considered as Exempt from Public Disclosure in accordance with Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2.790(a).
We request that the Wisconsin Electric Power Company review the allegation, initiate an appropriate investigation, and take any actions you deem appropriate.
We also request that the results of your review and disposition of this matter be submitted to us within 30 days of the date of this letter.
Documentation supporting your results should be maintained at Point Beach station for subsequent review by Region III.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Comission's regulations a copy of this letter, excluding the enclosure, will be placed in the NRC Public Document Poon.
The response directed by this letter is not subject to the clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
