This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by C. Petrone of this
office on January 27-31, 1986, February 3-7, 1986 and February 14, 1986, at
the Hope Creek Generating Station, Unit 1, Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey, of
activities authorized by NRC License No. CPPR-120 and to the discussions of
-our findings held by
C. Petrone with R. Salvesen of your staff on February 7,
1986 and further discussions of findings held by N. Blumberg with R. Salvesen
on February 14, 1986.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
