Special Report Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) 3.7.9 of the Trojan Technical Specifications requires submittal of a Special Report if a 3-hour fire barrier is nonfunctional for greater than seven days. Fire barriers in the areas described below were declared inoperable on the '

dates indicated and remained inoperable for greater than seven days. '

The barriers were degraded in order to support the indicated maintenance work in each area.

Perform pipe hanger work and Remote Shutdown Station installation The compensatory measures of Technical Specification 3.7.9 (checking local smoke detectors and establishing an hourly fire patrol) were established as required. It is expected that these barriers will be restored to operable status by June 30, 1988.
