Export of Special Nuclear Material A routine material control and accounting safeguards inspection and a nuclear materials safety inspection were made of your activities authorized under h7C License Number XSNM-02214, during an in-office inspection on February 19 and at the Port of Oakland, Oakland, California on February 20 through 21,-1986.
The inspection was conducted by Region V Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards Branch Inspectors Messrs. James L. Montgomery, Robert D. Thomas, J.
Frank Pang and Gilbert B. Nelson. The inspectors examined a shipment, originiating from the General Electric Company, Wilmington, North Carolina, for compliance with the requirements of Title 10, Part 70, "Special Nuclear Materials," and Part 71, " Packaging and Transportation of Radioactive Material," Code of Federal Regulations.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's
" Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of their findings of your control and accounting procedures for the safeguarding of special nuclear material are exempt from disclosure.
Therefore, the enclosed inspection report will not be placed in the public document room, but the report will be given limited distribution.
