  • I INTRODUCTION 1

Objectives define the goals of exercise play. Specific objectives originate [

from discussions between Volf Creek Nuolear Operating Corporation, State of '

Kansas, Coffey County, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the Federal i Emergency Management Agency - Region VII.

l l

The listing of objectiveo is divided into three groups utility, 10041 and ,

state. Each group is divided further into various participating facilities ,

and functions. -

A list of abbreviations is used in assigning responsibilities for objectives included.

Each objective for each facility / team will be designated with a "na", "- "

J or a "D". Certain parts of some objectives have been enclosed in brackets.  !

l This is to indiente it is a two-part objective. If both parts of the objective are to be demonstrate.1, a single "D" will appear in the ,

facility / team oolumn. Likewise, if both parts are not applicable (na) or l not to be demonstrated at this exercise (--), then only a single "na" or

"- " will be present in the facility / team column. However, if only the l; bracketed part of the objective is to be demonstrated (D) ani the part outside the brackets is not applicable (na), then in the facility / team column a "D" would appear in brackets and a "na" would appear without brackets. >
