disposing it in accordance with NRC and 20T. regulations.

CEhasanNRCapprovedradiationprotectonprogramonsite,andthe'FbuP. staff feels that the licensee's present health physics program is adequate to protect the employees and environment in, handling this source.

The purpose of this licensing action is ':o. provide CE the authorization to receive the discarded gauge containing 215 Ci of C0-60, examine it,.and dispose of it in accordance with the regulations.
