AMENDPENT NO. 90 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. DPR-6: FUEL DESIGNATOR (TAC NO. 66939) 1he Conmission has issued the enclosed Anendaent No.90 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-6 for the Big Rock Point Plant. This 6nendnient consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated December 14, 1987.

This anendn.ent allows inclusion of all reloads of the "I" fuel design in the Technical Specifications. Past practice has been to identify each cycle reload individually and routinely change the Technical Specifications even though fuel design was not being altered. This revision permits future reloads of "I" fuel to be performed under 10 CFR 50.59. Any future reloads containing fuel with a design other than the "I" fuel will require an additional Technical Specification an endn ent.

will be included in the Commission's biweekly Federal R_egister notice. -
