LICENSE CHANGE SUPPORTING THE INCORPORATION OF ENDCF-CYCLE RECIRCULATION PUMP TRIP (EOC-RPT) SYSTEMS AT PEACH BOTTOM ATOMIC POWER STATION, UNIT NOS. 2 AND 3 (TAC NOS. MA1344 AND MA1345)
Dear Mr. Edwards:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendments Nos. -225 and 229 to Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Unit Nos. 2 and 3. These amendments consist of changes to the Technical Spec;ficetions (TSs) in response to the PECO Energy Company's (the licensee's) application dated March 20,1998; as revised by the letters dated June 26, August 11, and September 14, 1998. The revised information included an updated no significant hazards consideration determination, which was found by the staff to be weak.

These amendments would revise the TSs to permit incorporation of EOC-RPT systems at i
l PBAPS, Units 2 and 3.
A copy of the safety evaluation is also enclosed. Notice of Issuance will be included in the
. Commission's Biweekly Federal Reaister Notice.
