Dear Mr. Edwards:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendments Nos.223 and 227 to Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Unit Nos. 2 and 3. These amendments consist of changes to the Technical l
Specifications (TSs) in response to your application dated May 23,1997 as supplemented by letter dated September 11,1998.
These amendments revise the PBAPS TSs to exclude the MSIV leakage from the total Type B and Type C Local Leak Rate Test results.
A copy of the safety evaluation is also enclosed. Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's Bi Weekly Federal Reaister Notice.
