NPDES Monitoring Report San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 3 The SONGS monitoring report covering the month of July is subnitted in accordance with the requirements of CRWQCB Order 85-13 (NPDES Permit No.

CA0108181). A sumary of the generating unit's status and significant analytical results is provided below.

Le uni) was shutdown for refueling during July. All sag led water sources-were found to be within permit limits, except one chlorination on 7/6/88 which exceeded limits.

We chlorination was stopped when the sagle indicated excessive chlorine. The chemical pemps were reset and testing the following day was within limits.

Procedural changes have been made to prevent future reoccurrence.
