%*...);E CONSUMERS POWER COMPANY BIG ROCK POINT PLANT DOCKET NO. 50-155 AMENDMENT TO FACILIY OPERATING LICENSE Amendment No.92 License No. DPR-6

1. The Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has found that:

A. The submittals by Consumers Power Company (the licensee) dated December 2,1986, and February 1,1988, comply with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations set forth  ;

in 10 CFR Chapter I; '

B. The facility will operate in conformity with the submittals, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Comission; C. There is reasonable assurance (1) that the activities authorized by this a.nendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public; and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliance with the Comission's regulations; D. The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the comon defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E. The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Comission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.

2. Accordingly, paragraph 2.C.(5) of Facility Operating License No. DPR-6 is hereby amended to read as follows The licensee shall fully implement and maintain in effect all provisions of the Comis-ion-approved physical security, guard training and qualific m, and safeguards contingency plans including amendmentsi.ade pursuant to provisions of the Miscellane as Amendments and Search Requirements revisions to 10 CFR 73.55 (51 FR 27817 and 27822) and to the authority of 10 CFR 50.90 and 10CFR50.54(p). The plans, which contain Safeguards Information protected under 10 CFR 73.21, are entitled: "Big Rock Point Plant Physical Security Plan," with revisions submitted through February 1,1988; "Big Rock Point Plant Suitability Training and '

2 and "Big Rock Point Plant Safeguards Contingency Plan, vith revisions submitted through February 18, 1965. Changes made in accordance with 10 CFR 73.55 shall be implemented in accordance with the schedule set forth therein.

3. This license amendment is effective as of the date of its issuance.
