NRC Inspection of Trojan Nuclear Plant
This letter refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. F. Melfi of this
office, on July 18 through July 22, 1988, of activities authorized by NRC
License No. NPF-1 and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Melfi with
members of your at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed inspection
report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspector.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified within the scope of this
inspection.
In your letter dated January 26, 1988, in response to our Notice of Violation
in Inspection Report No. 50-344/87-31, dated December 17, 1988, Trojan denied
the violation cited.
After review of the information provided to the inspector during this
inspection, we believe the the basis for the violation does not exist and the
violation (50-344/87-31, Violation A) is rescinded.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 (a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Docu.nent Room.
