This is to confim arrangements made with you during telephone conversations with Region IV staff on August 23 and 30, 1988, for an Enforcement Conference in the Region IV office on September 15,1988,at9:00a.m.(CDT).

The purpose of the Enforcement Conference is to discuss an apparent violation regarding improper fire watches as documented in NRC Investigation Report Case 3

No. 4-88-004, and an apparent violation regarding a failure to include

appropriate acceptance criteria in closing out a maintenance work request as documented in NRC Inspection Report 50-498/88-46. The referenced 1

investigation report synopsis and inspect *.on report were forwarded to you under separate cover. A proposed meeting agenda is enclosed.
