The NRC recently received an ananymous call concerning snubber worker training irregularities. These irregularities allegedly occurred on or before March 14,1988, and concerned contractors who were going to be working on safety-related snubbers.

Allegedly, those contract employees failed a qualification test. The tests were re-evaluated and plant specific questions were deleted allowing the contractors to pass. The above concern is provided to you for your followup.
Please provide to this office, within 30 days of the date of this letter, a description of the actions you have taken and results achieved.
