Enclosed are copies of the Final Exercise Report prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the October 29, 1985 exercise of the l
offsite radiological emergency preparedness plans at the Hope Creek Generating Station and the November 15, 1985 remedial exercise.
Also included is the FEMA Interim Finding on Offsite Radiological Emergency Preparedness for Artificial Island (Salem / Hope Creek).
The reports contain a schedule for corrective actions of offsite emergency preparedness deficiencies.
These deficiencies were identified both during the exercise and during the reviews of State and local plans by FEMA Regions !! and !!!.
In connection with the resolution of such deficiencies, you should keep abreast of the activities taken by both State and local authorities and provide assistance to them on an as needed basis.
