! to the Technical Specifications for your Waterford Steam Electric Station,

! Unit 3.

i As discussed previously with you and your staff, this is to advise you that i

we do not consider that this request qualifies as a candidate for an emergency change in as much as (1) it does not represent a potential significant safety concern and (2) your staff has been aware of the desire for this change for a lengthy period of time and, thus, has not filed a timely application as required by 50.91(a)(5). The staff therefore will process and review your request in accordance with our standard procedures. In recognition of your wish for speedy resolution of this matter, however, we will make every effort to expedite our review in order to minimize potential operational inconveniences, f If you have any questions in this matter, contact the NRC Project Manager,  ;
