DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 MANAGEMENT APP 0INTMENT Gentlemen:
Effective August 26, 1988, Mr. H. D. (Buzz) Bruner of Bechtel Power Corporation was appointed Senior Vice President of TV Electric.
In this capacity Mr. Bruner is functioning as my direct representative on-site.
Mr. Bruner has extensive experience in the nuclear power field and brings i
outstanding additional capabilities to the project.
He will head a newly created office of project completion and report directly to me.
The office of project completion was created in order to focus all the on-site activities associated with the completion and start-up of Comanche Peak and will supplement and support the existing management structure.
The Vice President, Engineering and Construction and the Vice President, Nuclear Operations will report to Mr. Bruner.
Inasmuch as the office of project completion will be eliminated after the start-up of Unit 2 and is merely an extension of my own office, the Final Safety Analysis Report need not be updated to reflect this change to the management structure and current procedures need not be revised to any significant extent to accommodate Mr. Bruner's appointment.
