This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. T. Koshy of this office on
February 29 to March 4, 1988 at Maine Yankee Atomic Power Station and your
engineering office at Augusta, Maine of activities authorized by NRC License
No. OPR-36 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Koshy with
Mr. E. T. Boulette of your staf f at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
