FORT CALHOUN STATION, UNIT NO.1 - AMENDMENT NO.113 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. DPR-40 (TAC NO. 67165)

The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.113 o Facility Operating t

License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No.1.

This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications partially granting ycur application dated February 8, 1988.

The amendment would allow the licensee to use annual average (rather than real-time) meteorological dispersion factors to calculate doses, and corrects and clarifies some parts of Technical Specifications 2.9.1 and 5.9.4.

However, the requested changes for removing instantaneous release and removal of the radioactive effluent reports according to Regulatory Guide 1.21 was not approved by the staff. A notice of denial for these changes will be published in the Federal Register.

A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Comission's next Bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
