Gentlemen:
This refers to the meeting held in the Region III office on February 14, 1986,
between Messrs. M. Phillips and T. Ploski of my staff and Messrs. R. Varley,
S. Cope, and J. Lietzow of your staff, to discuss the status of current
activities and potential changes affecting the emergency preparedness program at
the Davis-Besse Station.
The enclosed report identifies areas discussed during the meeting.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC
