Dear Sir:

l This refers to the routine safety inspection of our license program conducted by Mr. J. Roth of your office on December 7-9, 1987, and the l

ensuing report from you dated February 01, 1988.

l As a result of the finding that the cover to the shielded storage area was not posted properly, the cover was irm diately posted with signs marked "Caution - Radioactive Materials" and bearing the radiation caution syrbol.

In the future, Health Physics staff will conduct more frequent reviews of posting and labeling in operational areas and will erphasize posting and labeling requirements for responsible facility operators.
