INSPECi10N AT THE SURRY FACILITY This letter is to inform you that a Safety System Functional Inspection (SSFI) will be conducted by a Region II inspection team at the Surry facility fron; September 12-16 and 26 30, 1988. The inspection effort will be focused on the service water system and associated systems served by service water.
The objective of this in?pection is to assess the operational readiness of the Surry service water system to meet its intended design function under all postulated conditions. The team leader will be Mr. G. A. Belisle.
This information was discussed between Mr. Belisle and Mrs. N. Hardwick, Manager Nuciear Programs and Licensing, on August 4,1988.
