Inspection No. 50-354/88-06
A routine radiological controls inspection was conducted at the Hope Creek
Nuclear Generating Station by Mr. R. L. Nimitz and Ms. J. A. Gresick during
the period of February 29 - March 3, 1988.
The inspection findings were
discussed with Mr. S. LaEruna.
The inspection covered:
action on previous findings; organization and
staffing; communications; audits; ALARA; high radiation area control; and
in plant radiological controls during the outage.
Some weaknesses were identified in the radiological controls program and are
described in the enclosed report.
No violations were identified and no reply to this letter is required.
