This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. G. Napuda of this office
on January 7-10 and 13-15, 1986, at the Hope Creek Generating Station, Hancock
Bridge and Salem, New Jersey, of activities authorized by NRC License No.
CPPR-120 and to the discussions of our findings he;d by Mr. Napuda with Mr. R.
Salvesen and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Ir ec-
tion Report which is enclosed with-this letter. Within these areas, the inspec-
tion consisted of selective examinations of procedures and represenLetive records,
interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the sccpe of-this inspection, no violations were observed.
