CERTIFICATE AMENDMENT REQUEST - PORTSMOUTH GASEOUS DIFFUSION PLANT X-744H WARENOUSE CRITICALITY EVACUATION HORNS (TAC NO. L32084)

Dear Mr. Miller:

In accordance with your application dated J e 11,1998, and pursuant to Part 76 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Certificat of Compliance GDP-2 is hereby amended by deleting the requirement in the Plan for A ieving Compliance with NRC Regulations at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (Corppliance Plan) Issue 11, Plan of Action and Schedule, to install evacuation horns / lights in the X 744H warehouse and to tie them to the X-744G warehouse Criticality Accident Alarm Sy tem. Accordingly, Condition 8 has been revised to include the date of June 11,1998. Co es of the Compliance Evaluation Report, prepared to support the amendment, and the Noti of Amendment, which appeared in the Federal Reaister on August 11,1998, were previously rovided to you by letter dated July 31,1998. This amendment becomes effective five days after issuance.

All other conditions of this certificate shall remain the same.

Enclosed is a copy of the revised Certificate of Compliance.
