h SPECIAL REPORT CATAWRA NUClf.AR STATION, UNIT 2 INOPFRABII.ITY OF CllANNKI.S NO. 10 AND NO. 12 0F Tile UNIT 2 VIBRATION AND IDOSE PARTS HONITOR SYSTFM FROM HORE TilAN 30 DAYS On March 20, 1988 Channel No. 10 (S/G B) of the Unit 2 Vibration and loose Parts Monitor System was declared inoperable. A redundant channel on S/G B (Channel No. 6) remains operable. Work Request 399020PS was written to repair the accelerameter. The repair will be carried out during a future outage. Since the channel has been inoperable more than 30 days this is reportable to the NRC pursuant to Technical Specification 3.3.3.9.
On March 20, 1988 Channel No. 12 (S/G D) of the Unit 2 Vibration and Loose Parts Honitor System was declared inoperable. A redundant channel on S/G D (Channel
- 8) remains operable. Work Request 399030PS was written to repair the accelerameter. The repair will be carried out during a future outage. Since the channel has been inoperable more than 30 days this is reportable to the NRC pursuant to Technical Specification 3.3.3.9.
