DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 MAIN STEAM LINE FLUID TRANSIENT SDAR: CP-85-49 (SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On December 20, 1985, TV Electric infonned you by a report logged TXX-4656 of a reportable deficiency involving an unevaluated fluid transient in the steam supply line for the turbine driven auxiliary feedwater pump (TDAFP).
The latest report on this issue was logged TXX-88520, dated June 29, 1988.
The purpose of this report is to revise the corrective action implementation schedule.
The estimated completion date for the Unit 1 design modifications specified in TXX-88520 has been revised to December 29, 1988.
The Unit 1 testing of the system modifications will still take place during Unit 1 Hot Functional Testing.
The schedule for completion of the Unit 2 modifications has not changed.
