4.0 PREREQUISITES 4.1 Verify Working Copy of this procedure with Control Copy.

4.2 Before removing equipment from service, obtain approval from Control Room SRO AND Reactor Operator at the Controls (ROATC).

4.3 Verify Test Equipment Cal Due Date is current and record on Enclosure 11.1.

4.4 If required, obtain Radiation Work Permit (RWP).

4.5 Independent Verification (IV) has been incorporated into this procedure.

NOTER All IV sign-offs shall be on Enclosure 11.1.

IV Reg'd 4.6 Verify all prerequisites have been met AND sign off on Enclosure 11.1.

5.0 Q.MITS AND PRECAUTIONS 5.1 Use appropriate precautions to avoid injury from high voltage, pressure, radiation, temperature or radioactive contamination in work area.

5.2 Sections of this procedure that do not apply to work being '

performed may be sirked NA; 5.3 If impulse line is found blocked, not.'fy 1AE supervisor or WZ system engineer.

6.0 UNIT STATUS '

i This procedure may be perfore:d in any mode; however, Control room  !

SRO will determine equipment availability.

7.0 GENERAL DESCRIPTION Groundwater level transmitters are used to monitor groundwater level our. side the auxiliary Nailding. Each transmitter loop provides local indication and Control Room altres.

10. PROCEDURE l

i 10.1 Initial Conditions l

10.1.1 If necessary, have Control Room SRO declare equipment being tested inoperable AND log in TECH SPEC LOGBOOK.

10.1.2 Befcre removing equipment from service, notify ROATC.

10.1.3 Record general information on Enclosure 11.1.

IV Reg'd 10.1.4 Before beginning maintenance or testing on any component, verify correct component per Work Request. l 10.2 Removal From Service '

IV Reg'd 10.2.1 Close instrument isolation valve.

10.2.2 Remove test tee cap or discon ect tubing at HI side of transmitter.

Page 4 of 5 10.3 Calibration i 10.3.1 Connect pressure source and pressure indicator to transmitter.

10.3.2 Apply inputs per Enclosure 11.2 AND record AS FOUND data.

10.3.3 IF all AS FOUND data are within tolerance, record AS FOUND data in AS LEFT column AND so to Section 10.4.

l 10.3.4 E all AS FOUND data are not within tolerance, i determine reason for out of tolerance.

l A. If transmitter is out of tolerance, calibrate l per IP/0/B/3204/04.

B. If indicator is out of tolerance, calibrate per IP/0/B/3250/08.

C. If pressure switch is out of tolerance, 1 calibrate per IP/0/A/3250/138.

D. If Control Roosi annunciator does not respond I properly, troubleshoot per IP/0/A/3090/02.

10.4 Impulse Line Check i

IV Reg'd 10.4.1 Open BOTH isolation valves. l l

l 10.4.2 Connect regulated supply air or hand pump to  !

transmitter.

CAITTION, Pressure >11 PSIG may damage transmitter, i 10.4.3 Verify impulse line is connected to transmitter i

AND all other openings are capped.

1 NOTE: Following step may be verified by audible air flow through penetration or inability to build pressure on impulse line.

10.4.4 Apply sufficient preasure (not >11 PSIG) to verify impulse line is open.

A, IF, impulse line is open, so to Section 10.5.

B. E impulse line is blocked, contact WZ system engineer for further instructions. '
