SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-348/88-24 AND 50-364/88-24
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Connission (NRC) inspection conducte(by
W. H. Miller on July 11 thru August 10, 1988. The insnection included a review
of activities authorized for your Farley facility.

inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff
identified in the enclosed inspection report.

Areas exanined during the inspection are identified in the report.
Within
these areas, tie inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
The inspection findings indicate that certain activities appear to violate NRC
requirements.
This violation is another example of Violation 348,364/88-20-03
to which you responded on July 28, 1988. Therefore, no additional response is
required. We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during
future inspections.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," Part 2
Title 10. Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosures
