Looks at the damper position and verifies the vent louvers are open.

CUE:

As appropriate state, Vent louvers are open.

EVALUATOR NOTE: The following steps are in QCOP 6600-11.

F.10 Verify DGCWP automatically starts.

Verifies DGCWP red run light lit on the 2251-37 panel for Unit 1 EDG (2212-50 panel for 1/2 EDG).

OR Verifies increase pressure on DG HX SW gauges.

OR Observes flow meter outside DG room > 900 gpm, FI 1-3941-26 for Unit 1EDG (FI 1/2-3941-27 for 1/2 EDG)

STEP ELEMENT STANDARD SAT UNSAT Comment Number CUE:

As appropriate, respond with the following:

Point to the red run light and state This light is lit.

Indicate 50 psig on the DG HX pressure gage and state, The indicator points here.

Indicate 950 gpm on the Flow Indicator and state, The indicator points here.

CUE:

The following indications are on the 2251-10 panel for Unit 1 EDG and 2212-45 panel for 1/2 EDG.

F.11 Verify DG Frequency is at 60 Hz.

At Engine Mounted Control Panel, verifies DG Frequency is 60 Hz.

CUE:

Point to 60Hz on the Frequency meter and state, Indicator points here.

F.12 Verify DG Voltage is at 4160 Volts.

At Panel 2251-10 (2212-45),

verifies DG Voltage is 4160 Volts.

CUE:

Point to 4160 Volts on the Voltage meter and state, Indicator points here.

Notify Control Room (Unit Supervisor) Diesel Generator is ready to be loaded.

Contacts the Control Room and reports Diesel Generator status.

CUE:

As the Unit Supervisor, acknowledge DG status and state, Another Operator has been dispatched to monitor DG voltage, frequency, and load.
