This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. S. Chaudhary of
this office on July 19-22, 1988 at Haddam Neck Plant, East Haddam, Connecticut.
Mr. Chaudhary discussed the findings of the inspection with Mr. D. B. Miller, Jr. '
at the conclusion of the inspection.
This inspection focused on construction of the new electrical switchgear
building as described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed
with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel,
and observatior.s by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
