NPDES Monitoring Report San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1 t

l The SONGS monitoring report covering the month of June ar.d the semiannual ~

period, January through June, are subnitted in accordance teith the require-ments of CRWQCB Order 88-001 (NPDES Permit No. CA0001228) . A sumnary of the generating unit's status and significant analytical results is provided below.

The unit was shutdown for maintenance. All sampled water sources were fouM to be within permit limits except the sewage treatment plant which was high on settleable solids one day due to a weekend sewer line plugging half the plant, causing hydraulic problens in the other half. Sanples required for the semiannual report were not collected because water flow was unavailable at the seniannual sampling time. Collection of this set of samples will be made as soon as practical.

l Pursuant to Order No.88-001, Reporting Requirstent 12, the following i representative is authorized to sign and certify all reports required by l this order: Arthur Kneisel, Environnental Engineer.
