Gentlemen:
This refers to your letter dated November 19, 1987, requesting renewal of 4
Certificate of Compliance No. 9100 for the Model No. KKP-20-4950 package.
The contents euthorized for this package do not exceed a Type A quantity.
Under the provisions of 10 CFR 571.10(b)(1), such packages are exempt from the requirements of 10 CFR Part 71, other than 671.5. Therefore, we do not intend to renew Certificate of compliance No. 9100 beyond its current expiration date of May 31, 1988. However, further use of the package will continue to be subject to 10 CFR 971.5 and the requirements of the Department of Transportation.
