NOTICE OF DEVIATION Detroit Edison Company Docket No. 50-341 The following deviation.was identified during an inspection conducted on March 7-25, 1988.
In the Fermi 2 Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR),
Section 8.3.1.1.13.1, the licensee comitted to conduct electrical circuit breaker operating tests and protective relay tests initially, one year
.thereaf ter, and from then on coincident with reactor shutdown.
Contrary to the above, there was no objective evidence to indicate that the commitments were accomplished (341/88007-2).
This is a deviation (Supplement 1).
Please provide in writing within 30 days of the date of this Notice:
(1) the reason'for the deviation; (2) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; (3) the corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further deviations; and (4) the date when your corrective action will be completed. Where good cause is shown, consideration will be given to extending the response time.
